Destin, Florida Makes Priceline’s Top 50 for July 4

Anyone that has visited Destin isn’t surprised! Our beautiful white sand and amazing Emerald waters are just too hard to beat!

On June 25, Priceline.com released the results of its 6th annual survey of the 50 most-popular destinations for the upcoming Independence Day holiday weekend. Destin made the list at #38, a feat for a smaller destination when most of the other destinations on the list, including New Orleans, Las Vegas, Chicago, and New York City, are much larger cities.

The survey is based on more than 30,000 hotel room booking requests made by customers using priceline.com’s Name Your Own Price® hotel reservation service. Because the survey is based on credit card-backed booking requests, and not on consumer preference polls or votes, priceline.com believes the annual survey is one of the more accurate predictors of July 4th travel trends.
